Versa-Form Machine utilizes a dedicated tooling plate purposefully made for the finished part but shares a common frame, control, feeder, straightener, hydraulic power supply with other parts like a Press with a Die.
A dedicated tooling plate is built to complete all operations to a wire in one operation. This can include extra machining, notching, end finishing, light cold heading and other operations.
Tool plates can often be designed to run two-at-a-time to run RH/LH parts or pairs of same or different parts.
